By this point, Lloyd was absolutely certain of one thing.
Tommy was an alien.
There was simply no other explanation.
Cooking skills, super reading speed, impossible math knowledge, random geography facts… it all pointed to one clear conclusion.
Extraterrestrial activity.
So Lloyd sat at the dining table with his notebook open, writing down everything he had observed so far.
At the top of the page he had written in large letters:
Alien Investigation Notes
Below that were several serious bullet points.
- Reads 800 pages in 15 minutes
- Solves advanced math instantly
- Cooks complicated food
- Knows world capitals
- Drinks milk at night (possible alien habit)
Lloyd tapped his pen thoughtfully.
“Yes,” he murmured. “The evidence is overwhelming.”
He closed the notebook and stood up.
But as he walked past the dining table, something else caught his attention.
Another notebook.
Smaller.
It didn’t belong to him.
Lloyd frowned.
“That’s Tommy’s notebook,” he said quietly.
Curiosity immediately took over.
He opened it.
Inside the first page were four words written very clearly.
Babysitter Intelligence Test
Lloyd blinked.
“What?”
He turned the page.
There was a list written underneath.
- Panics a lot
- Observes a lot
- Reacts to unusual behavior
- Might possibly be a robot
Lloyd slowly lowered the notebook.
“…Excuse me?”
He grabbed the notebook and marched into the living room where Tommy was sitting calmly on the couch reading.
“Tommy!” Lloyd said.
Tommy looked up.
“Yes?”
Lloyd held up the notebook.
“What is this?”
Tommy glanced at it.
“Oh,” he said. “My notes.”
“Your notes?” Lloyd repeated. “This says Babysitter Intelligence Test!”
Tommy nodded.
“Yes.”
Lloyd pointed at the list.
“You wrote that I might possibly be a robot!”
Tommy thought for a moment.
“Well… yes.”
Lloyd stared at him.
“I am not a robot.”
Tommy tilted his head.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes!”
Tommy crossed his arms thoughtfully.
“Based on my observations, there is about a 67% chance that you are a robot.”
Lloyd’s jaw dropped.
“Sixty-seven percent?!”
Tommy nodded calmly.
“You panic frequently,” he explained. “You watch me very carefully. And you react strongly to unusual behavior.”
“That’s because you’re acting like an alien!” Lloyd said.
Tommy sighed.
“I am not an alien.”
“You read eight hundred pages in fifteen minutes!”
“I like reading.”
“You solved my math homework!”
“It was easy.”
“You knew the capital of Mongolia!”
Tommy shrugged.
“It’s Ulaanbaatar.”
Lloyd pointed at him dramatically.
“Exactly!”
Tommy leaned back on the couch.
“And you keep calling me an alien even though I am not,” he said calmly.
Lloyd crossed his arms.
“That’s because you are.”
Tommy shook his head.
“Robot behavior.”
“I am NOT a robot!”
“Sixty-seven percent probability,” Tommy repeated.
Lloyd groaned and covered his face.
“This theory is completely messed up.”
Just then—
DING DONG.
The doorbell rang.
Both of them looked toward the front door.
🌀 What Just Happened?
- Lloyd became completely convinced Tommy is an alien and wrote detailed investigation notes
- He discovered Tommy’s notebook titled Babysitter Intelligence Test
- Tommy listed Lloyd’s behavior and suggested he might be a robot
- Tommy calmly calculated a 67% probability that Lloyd is a robot
- Both ended up accusing each other—alien vs robot—right before the doorbell rang
