In the hallway, Jamie was reaching into her bag to grab her stuff when she froze.

“WHAT the… Bob?!”

Sure enough, Bob had somehow squeezed himself halfway into her backpack. His head was sticking out, eyes wide, and he muttered, “Uh… hi.”

Jamie gasped, then without hesitation, KICKED him.

“OWWW!” Bob yelped, tumbling out.

Jamie groaned, rubbed her forehead, and muttered, “Sorry…” Then immediately kicked him again.

“OWWW AGAIN!” Bob cried.

Samantha, watching from a distance, was still holding her arm from earlier. “Did… did she just apologize again?!” She wobbled dramatically. “I’m not ready for this!”

Across the hall, Buffalo was cuddling Mr. Squishy Wushy tightly. “Don’t worry, they won’t hurt you this time.”

Max smirked. “Wanna bet?”

Before Buffalo could react, Max snatched the teddy bear and chucked it out the window.

“FLYYYY, SQUISHY!” Max shouted.

“NOOOOO!” Buffalo screamed.

Everyone gasped when the teddy bear actually screamed too. “AGHHHHHHHHHH!” it wailed as it flew through the air.

Buffalo’s face turned red with rage. He grabbed Max like he weighed nothing and shoved him straight into a locker.

“NOT AGAIN!” Max yelled, muffled from inside. “WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE LOCKER?!”

Meanwhile, Abigail was still skateboarding like the school hallways were her personal skate park.

“WHEEEEEE—oh no.”

CRASH!

She slammed into Mr. Thompson AGAIN, knocking him flat. His glasses flew into a trash can.

“ABIGAIL!” Mr. Thompson roared. “WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS ON WHEELS?!”

Emma, completely oblivious, was twirling around in the hallway, dancing to music only she could hear.

“Do the cha-cha, do the cha-cha—”

SMACK!

She spun and accidentally slapped George across the face.

George stumbled, holding his cheek. “EMMA! WHAT WAS THAT?!”

Emma blinked. “Uh… interpretive dance?”

George groaned. “This school is cursed.”

Jamie sat against the wall, furiously trying to finish her math homework.

“Okay… x equals… ugh, I hate algebra…” she muttered.

Suddenly, Max popped up behind her, snatched her math book, and darted away laughing. “Thanks, Jamie! I always wanted a new paperweight!”

“MAX!” Jamie roared.

She hurled her pencil case at his head. BONK!

Then quickly gasped. “Oh my gosh… sorry!”

Max smirked. “Ha! You’re slipping, Miss Perfect—”

WHAM! Jamie’s entire notebook smacked him in the face.

“OWWW! Are you seriously weaponizing school supplies now?!” Max shouted, clutching his forehead.

Jamie crossed her arms. “Yes. And I’m not even sorry this time.”
