The Fake Fang

Wide illustration from The Fake Fang showing a tall Gothic castle on a rocky cliff at night, with glowing red windows, a rope bridge, and lightning in a cloudy sky.

Every town has secrets.
Some hide them in basements. Some lock them in attics.
Jack’s town hides theirs in a dark castle near the woods—and pretends it’s totally normal.

Jack is twelve years old, painfully bored, and absolutely sure that vampires are not real. Sure, his little sister talks about them like they’re neighbors, his parents whisper about “last year,” and goats keep mysteriously disappearing—but that doesn’t mean anything. Probably.

Then Jack overhears one conversation too many.

By the next night, armed with a curtain, ketchup, and a very bad plan, Jack does the unthinkable: he sneaks into a vampire castle pretending to be one of them. What follows is a chaotic mix of suspicious vampires, terrible disguises, accidental pizza orders, broken gaming controllers, and one shocking truth Jack never saw coming.

If you’re curious how a fake vampire survives a real vampire meeting—or why singing Let It Go becomes a serious problem—read on to find out what happens next.

👉 Click below to read the full story and follow Jack into the dark castle… if you dare (or if you’re bored enough).

And remember: it all starts with a broken TV.
